CareerTech

The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education oversees a statewide system of career and technology education, setting and sustaining standards of excellence for a system that includes 29 technology centers, 15 Skills Centers, 391 Preschool-12th grade school districts, 32 adult basic education providers, and training for business and industry. The agency provides technical assistance and oversight to all CareerTech educators and staff throughout Oklahoma. In addition, it ensures compliance with all agency standards and state and federal regulations. To ensure a quality CareerTech education, the agency partners with numerous state agencies and higher education institutions throughout Oklahoma.
