Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners

The Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (OSBVME) serves as the official licensing agency for the practice of veterinary medicine within Oklahoma. Founded in 1913, the agency fulfills its mission by developing, maintaining, and enforcing professional standards including licensing veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, animal euthanasia technicians, and non-veterinary dental equine and non-veterinary reproductive services.
