Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority

Established in 1999 by the Oklahoma Legislature in 74 O.S. § 74-5203, the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA) plans spaceport systems and projects; promotes the development and improvement of space exploration and spaceport facilities; stimulates the development of space commerce and education, including the commercialization of the space industry and the development of space-related industries; promotes research and development associated with aerospace- and space-related industry; and promotes tourism in connection with these industries. OSIDA operates the 2,700-acre Oklahoma Air and Space Port and Aerospace Industrial Complex at Clinton-Sherman Airport (KCSM) in Burns Flat.
