Oklahoma Funeral Board

The Oklahoma Funeral Board serves the public interest and protection through the regulation and education of the funeral service profession. Founded in 1905, the Board regulates funeral director student apprentices, funeral directors, embalmers, funeral homes, crematories, embalming services, continuing education and burial associations. The Board oversees the approval of all licensure applications and licensure renewals; manages complaints filed against licensees; coordinates the fiscal aspects of the agency to include required state audits and maintenance of required files; and represents the agency with state and federal legislative leadership.
