Oklahoma District Attorneys Council

Founded in 1976, the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council (DAC) serves as the administrative support to the District Attorneys and their staff across Oklahoma. DAC oversees payroll for over 1,000 employees of the District Attorney system and assists them with budgeting, processing travel claims, purchasing, insurance, and retirement. The DAC is the State Administering Agency for the federal Victims of Crime Act grant and monitors compliance of subgrantees. The Victim Services Division processes reimbursement claims of victims of violent crime. The Federal Grants Division administers more than a dozen federal grants, including the Violence Against Women Act grant, the Residential Substance Abuse and Treatment grant, the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) and the National Criminal History Improvement Project grant. The Uninsured Vehicle Enforcement Diversion (UVED) Division holds Oklahomans who are not in compliance with Oklahoma’s compulsory insurance law accountable.
