Oklahoma Corporation Commission
Founded in 1907 by Article 9 of the Oklahoma Constitution, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) is charged with balancing the rights and interests of Oklahoma residents and industries. The Commission regulates a wide range of activities in four core program areas: oil and gas drilling and production; public utility and telecommunications; motor carrier, rail, underground natural gas storage and pipeline transportation; and petroleum storage tanks.
