OMES wins PeopleSoft Feature Innovator Award
The Office of Management and Enterprise Services has been identified as a PeopleSoft Feature Innovator. The PeopleSoft Innovators Program recognizes customers that are deploying the latest features and frameworks.
This recognition comes after OMES updated their PeopleSoft Financials enterprise platform from on premises to the latest cloud infrastructure model. The move from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure increased both the pace of innovation and the value of IT spend.
OMES is now able to launch and scale new apps more quickly with the on-demand infrastructure, which enables the team to increase focus on business and competitive differentiation instead of routine IT tasks and put control in the hands of users.
“The updates have increased performance in networking, computation and storage overall for the system but also for the various applications within PeopleSoft,” said Ayana Wilkins, Financial Enterprise Application Director for OMES. “This is transforming how our agencies report and track assets and their financials.”
