SULPHUR, Okla. – Oklahoma School for the Deaf will celebrate their basketball homecoming festivities Saturday, January 21 in the Sulphur Public Schools gym located at 700 W. Broadway.
Homecoming events cannot be held on the OSD campus due to weather-related flooding that damaged the OSD gym.
“We are grateful to Sulphur Public Schools leadership for graciously allowing OSD to use their gym for our homecoming festivities,” Dr. Heather Laine, new Oklahoma School for the Deaf Superintendent, said. “I’m looking forward to thanking them in person and meeting people from the community.”
OSD’ celebration will begin at 3:00 p.m. with alumni basketball games.
Homecoming coronation will start at 6:00 p.m. followed by the OSD high school boys’ game against Cristo Rey Oklahoma City Catholic High School.
Senior Night activities will begin after the boys’ game.
Homecoming festivities will end with the OSD High School girls’ game against Cristo Rey.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf is a division of Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services.
