Commissioner Lindsay Hanna
Lindsay Hanna formerly served as Chief Operating Officer for Hearts for Hearing, a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through life-changing hearing health to listen for a lifetime. As a key member of the executive leadership team, she oversaw the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization and worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer to translate strategic vision into actionable plans that promote operational excellence across all departments.
A strategic leader and relationship builder, Hanna has spent over two decades advancing healthcare operations, clinical innovation, and patient experience. Since joining Hearts for Hearing in 2006 as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, she has held multiple leadership positions including Director of Community Services, Director of the Listening and Spoken Language Clinic, Chief Quality Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer before assuming her role as COO.
Under her leadership, Hanna has directed major organizational initiatives including the implementation and optimization of a new electronic medical record system, expansion of clinics in Norman and Tulsa, creation of a Patient Experience Manager role, and development of PowerBI dashboards that drive data-informed decision making. She has also been instrumental in launching the organization’s Newborn Hearing Screening program and strengthening statewide partnerships that enhance access to care.

Hanna earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Hanna is passionate about fostering leadership, community engagement, and continuous improvement within healthcare systems.
