About the Program:

No. Our program operates independently and is not affiliated with Oklahoma State University (OSU), the University of Oklahoma (OU), or any other university.

Reimbursement is possible upon request to the Program Director. If approved, the reimbursement will be made from your educational funds. Be sure to keep your receipt for the medical license fee, as it will be required for processing the reimbursement.

No. There will be an office exchange during the fellowship year, where fellows rotate between the OKC and Tulsa offices. This allows each fellow to gain experience working in different settings, fosters collaboration between the two locations, and supports broader professional development.

Only two fellows are hired each year.

The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) has two sites, one in Oklahoma City (OKC) and one in Tulsa. Each site hosts one fellow per year.

Before You Start:

No, there is nothing you are required to learn beforehand. All necessary training will be provided during the program.

You should obtain your Oklahoma medical license in advance.
