Interstate Oil Compact Commission

The Secretary of Energy & Environment helps develop and advance policies that encourage energy exploration and production and responsible environmental stewardship throughout Oklahoma. SOEE is the Governor's chief advisor on energy and environmental policy and provides oversight over Oklahoma's energy & environmental agencies, boards, and commissions. The Secretary of Energy & Environment is known historically as the Interstate Oil Compact Commission (IOCC). IOCC is funded per O.S. 52 § 207. The Secretary of Energy & Environment also oversees the Environmental Remediation Revolving Fund (NRDA) as described in 27A O.S. § 1-2-103.
