Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell Appointed Chair of the Aerospace States Association’s National Policy Committee

Oklahoma City, OK – Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, Chair of the Aerospace States Association (ASA), has appointed Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell to Chair the National Policy Committee.

“ASA is proud to keep our organization’s bi-partisan leadership tradition with the appointment of Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell to Chair of the ASA National Policy Committee. Oklahoma leads in aviation advancement and aeronautical achievement from the heartland to the national agenda. Lt. Governor Pinnell’s expertise in policy development and his interest in the aerospace sector will bring further growth to ASA’s influence on the national aerospace agenda, and I look forward to his leadership,” said Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears of Virginia, National Chair of the ASA.

Matt Pinnell was elected as the 17th Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma on November 6, 2018. Pinnell is President of the Oklahoma State Senate and serves on multiple constitutional boards and commissions, including serving as Chairman of the Oklahoma Tourism Commission and Route 66 Centennial Commission. He has set his Lt. Governor agenda focused on workforce and economic development issues.

Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell’s term succeeds past ASA National Policy Committee Chair, Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio of Guam, who was elected as ASA National Vice Chair this January.
