OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell is hosting the 35th Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt this week and next. This event showcases multiple Oklahoma communities to prospective out-of-state companies and site selection representatives. The seven communities participating this year are Alva, Ardmore, Duncan, Elk City, Hugo, Okemah, and Woodward.
“I look forward to speaking with guests about why Oklahoma is the best location for their businesses to thrive,” said Lt. Governor Pinnell. “With a low unemployment rate and high workforce participation, Oklahoma has one of the healthiest economies in the country. Our state is a great place to grow a business, and this event gives companies around the world a chance to see it for themselves.”
Since 1988, the Lt. Governor’s Annual Turkey Hunt has recruited development partners to communities around Oklahoma. Organized in partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, it is an invitation-only event and draws guests from around the world. The 2023 Hunt kicks off on Wednesday, April 19.
