OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell has announced a new video interview series called “A Look at Oklahoma CareerTech.” The series is being introduced in conjunction with National Career and Technical Education Month. It will feature interviews with current and former Oklahoma CareerTech students and showcase the state’s workforce development efforts.
“Oklahoma has one of the top ten CareerTech systems in the country,” said Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell. “Many Oklahomans don’t realize how many diverse programs with exciting job opportunities our 29 technology center districts have to offer. In order to close the skills gap in Oklahoma, we need to be promoting CareerTech as much as we promote college.”
The first “A Look at Oklahoma CareerTech” episode features a graduate of the Robotics & Electronic Automation program at Autry Technology Center. Episodes can be found on the Lt. Governor’s YouTube and Facebook Page.
