OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On Sunday, Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell was honored with the OATC Distinguished Achievement Award at the 55th Annual Oklahoma Summit. This award, presented by the Oklahoma Association for Career and Technology Education, is given to elected officials who are champions for the Oklahoma CareerTech system.

“I was honored to receive the OATC Distinguished Achievement Award,” said Lt. Governor Pinnell. “Oklahoma has one of the best CareerTech systems in the country. Promoting CareerTech means promoting workforce development and economic growth in our state, and that is something I will always advocate for.”

In February, Lt. Governor Pinnell launched his “A Look at Oklahoma CareerTech” video series. The videos feature interviews of current and former CareerTech students to showcase the life changing opportunities CareerTech schools offer.

Episodes of “A Look at Oklahoma CareerTech” can be found on the Lt. Governor’s YouTubeFacebook Page, and Instagram.
