OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell is excited to present the 33rd Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt. The statewide event showcases Oklahoma to prospective out of state companies and site selection representatives. Seven communities will be participating this year, including Alva, Duncan, Elk City, Hugo Southeast, Okemah, Sandstone Hills, and Woodward. The Turkey Hunt will begin on April 14th.
“I am looking forward to participating in the Lt. Governor’s Annual Turkey Hunt this year,” said Lt. Governor Pinnell. “After having to cancel last year due to Covid-19 concerns, I feel very fortunate that we are able to hold this event. The annual Turkey Hunt is a critical event for us to highlight Oklahoma communities and the unique business opportunities they provide. I look forward to seeing the economic growth that this event will bring to Oklahoma.”
Since 1988, the Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt has successfully recruited existing and potential development partners to communities around Oklahoma. Organized in conjunction with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, the hunt is an invitation-only event and has drawn visitors from around the world.
