Science & Research
The OWRB actively engages in the collection of data for conducting scientific research regarding quantity and quality of Oklahoma's water resources, often through partnerships with federal, state, and local entities. Public water suppliers, agriculture producers, oil and gas producers, and the state's burgeoning tourism and recreation industry, as well as many other water users, rely on sound science from the OWRB to assist with decision making, govern regulatory activities, and aid with early warning systems for drought and flooding.
