Work with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA)

OMMA staff oversee the medical marijuana program for Oklahoma as authorized by state law. Operating under the Oklahoma State Department of Health, OMMA strives to ensure safe and responsible practices across the industry for all Oklahomans. To achieve this, we work closely with many stakeholders, including partner agencies, the state legislature and trade associations.

Working for OMMA

Since the passage of State Question 788 in 2018, the medical marijuana industry in Oklahoma has seen tremendous growth—the fastest in the country. With new legislation comes new employment opportunities for our growing team. As part of a state agency, OMMA employees will be offered a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.
