Public and state employees invited to School for the Blind health fair

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Oklahoma School for the Blind will hold a health fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 8 on the school campus at 3300 Gibson Street in Muskogee.

The public and state employees are invited to participate.

Booths are available for vendors who provide health-care screenings or fitness programs and those who offer services for state employees through the voluntary payroll deduction program, including insurance companies, employee associations or financial institutions.

At this time, vendors include HealthChoice, Delta Dental, VSP, Employee Assistance Program, Aflac, American Fidelity, Washington National and Professional Oklahoma Educators with more signing up to participate every day.

Sponsors include the Thrive State Wellness Program, State Department of Health, TSET, Okie Nutrition, Cherokee Nation, Supplemental Insurance Vendors, Neighbors Building Neighborhoods, Planet Fitness, the Oklahoma Blood Institute and food trucks.
