Baggerly Foundation donation for Oklahoma School for Deaf Foundation
SULPHUR. Okla. — The Oklahoma School for the Deaf Foundation recently received a $5,000 donation from Steve and Becky Baggerly through the Baggerly Charitable Trust.
The generous donation will go towards the Make It Right Fund for OSD's football field and sports center.
Steve and Becky Baggerly came to the OSD campus to visit and hand their check to OSD Business Manager Lynn Hickman for the OSD Foundation.
Hickman has been friends with the Baggerlys for several years.
"They moved from Guymon to establish a home in Sulphur and wanted to give back to the community," Hickman said.
"The OSD Foundation would like to say thank you to Steve and Becky, and God bless you for your generosity,” OSD Foundation Secretary Marsha Cole added.
The Oklahoma School for the Deaf Foundation is an independent board of trustees. The Foundation provides funds for school programs and projects not otherwise funded by federal or state government agencies, such as teacher grants, student scholarships, Christmas gift cards, the Make It Right football field and sports center fund, and many other projects.
"All donations are very much appreciated," Cole said.
