DRS' Brigham completes extensive leadership program

Tracy Brigham, administrator for DRS’ Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired participated in the Governor’s Executive Development Program for state officials that was held July 15 to July 19.

The program is a customized, extensive week long program designed around five executive leadership competencies including:

  • Business acumen
  • Leading change
  • Leading people
  • Results driven
  • Building coalitions/communication

The program is developed especially for top-level state officials and offers the additional benefit of providing an opportunity to exchange ideas in an interactive setting allowing bridges to be built among colleagues across agencies.

The program is presented by outstanding faculty, all of whom are widely acknowledged experts in their respective fields. Senior faculty from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and American University (Washington, D. C.) are involved in the program and accessible to the participants throughout and after the program ends.
