Monday, October 22, 2018

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Spaghetti and meatballs will top the menu on Monday, November 5, when the Masons of Trinity Lodge #502 host their annual fundraiser to benefit Oklahoma School for the Blind.

OSB students will assist the Masons in serving dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge at 121 S. 6th Street, next to the U.S. Post Office in Muskogee.

The public is encouraged to attend. Organizers have suggested a $7 donation for each dinner at the door.

OSB’s award-winning Jazz Band will entertain from 5:30-6:00 p.m. The Jazz Band won three consecutive 2-A championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The Masons have planned a silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a popular dessert auction at 7 p.m.

Organizers will sell $5.00 raffle tickets to win a Yeti 110 cooler, valued at $500 and donated by James Hodge Ford.

“We are so grateful to the Masons and their many volunteers who make the spaghetti dinner, dessert and silent auction a big success every year,” OSB Superintendent Rita Echelle said. “Their generosity helps our students reach their educational goals and prepare to be employed, taxpaying citizens.”
