Government Assistance Resources

OKDHS Adult Protective ServicesNational Center on Elder Abuse serves as a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment.

Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable.
American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has information, tools, and benefits for individuals over 50.

Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitative Services is a resource guide for individuals with disabilities.

Social Security Administration provides resources and information about Social Security, including how to apply.

Ready.Gov provides online tools to help prepare for an emergency or national disaster.

National Institute on AgingMedicare.Gov provides information on Medicare and various health topics and has a resource locator.

Oklahoma's Senior Health Insurance Counseling Program provides counseling, assistance, and advocacy related to Medicare.
