340:2-1-2. Appointing authority

        The Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) Director has the power and duty to employ OKDHS personnel. As the OKDHS executive and administrative officer, the Director has final responsibility for all administrative decisions affecting OKDHS personnel actions.  Authority to appoint employees in the unclassified service is found in Section 26.17 of Title 56 and Section 840-5.5 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
