     Surfaces requiring dental treatment must be indicated using standard Latin abbreviations.  The following capital letters are used on claims:

• (1) M - Mesial

• (2) D - Distal

• (3) O - Occlusal

• (4) L - Lingual

• (5) F - Facial

• (6) I - Incisal

• (7) B - Buccal.
