Third Party Income – money received and used for care of a third party beneficiary who is not a household member

If the beneficiaries of the payment are both household and non-household members, identify the portion of the payment intended for the care of the non-household member and exclude it. If it is not identifiable (such as TANF cash assistance payments), the payment should be prorated among the beneficiaries.  Exclude non-household member's shares or the amount used for the non-household member's care – whichever is less.
