Determining Case Number
If the client has already been the payee or spouse on a case that is not currently open, you can use this case. This case will need to be put into application status by you or support staff.
To search for an old case: Use the PY transaction in IMS (among others) to find cases that clients have been on.

If not, a new case number will be created. You or support staff will create this case.
