Denial of Application

If a client is either unwilling to cooperate or does not meet the eligibility requirements – you will deny the application.  This includes not completing an interview or failing to provide requested verification.  You will likely use the FDENY process to complete these.

When you deny a case, a computer generated notice will be sent to the client.  If you are required to deny an application due to the client's death, you should send a letter to an authorized representative or nearest known relative.
