If an application is not approved or denied by the 30th calendar day, it is considered a delayed application. On the 30th day, you should determine whether it was DHS or the household itself that caused the delay – and record it in FACS case notes.
If the eligibility decision has been delayed due to our error (ADM-92 not sent [Form: 08AD092E]), ADM-92 sent late, lost application, etc.), you must keep the application until you have made a decision. The household must not be penalized due to the delay.
