Household Composition and Need

You must determine the household's composition prior to determining if the household meets the need factor. When there is only one parent or caretaker in the home, use the list of single parent or caretaker need factors. When there are two parents or caretakers in the home, use the list of two parent or caretaker need factors. There are additional considerations if parents share custody of a child or if a child participates in an Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grant Program or Oklahoma Early Childhood Program.
