Workers' compensation gives benefits and payments to workers suffering from work-related injuries or illnesses. This system of insurance can include payments of wages, for disability, or of death benefits.
When a client receives ongoing payments, the gross monthly amount of these payments is countable. You must determine if the workers' compensation is a one-time lump sum or recurring payment before counting this income.
Obtain copies of court orders or of the Oklahoma Worker Compensation Commission orders where appropriate and verification of gross amount and how often the client receives payments.
Select "Worker's Compensation" in the F99 dropdown box, and enter the gross monthly pay amount in F98 field.
