When a child does not qualify as predetermine eligible, Child Care Subsidy uses the household's income to determine if a child is income eligible. After identifying what income types the household receives and whether the income type is countable, determine when the income became available to the household and convert the income the household receives into the gross monthly income amount. This is the amount coded in FACS.
Self-employment follows a different process to determine the countable income amount. See how to determine the countable amount for self-employment here.
