Worker action on changes
You must act on all changes reported by the household. In order to determine what action you need to take, you must determine if the change requires the client to provide verification, whether the household reported the change timely, what effect the change will have on the Child Care benefit, and when the change takes effect based on Child Care Policy.
If a person outside of the household reports a change, review any changes with the client before taking action. Document all reported changes in FACS case notes.
You must change a provider or add an additional child to the benefit within 2 business days and act on all other changes within 10 calendar days.
