Ineligibility at renewal
When you determine that the household is ineligible at renewal, the Child Care must close or remain closed.
When you receive the renewal and all required verification before the first deadline, you may use the appropriate closure code to close the benefit. Consult the Appendix U for the correct reason.
When you cannot act by first deadline, the system will close the benefit. Once the household provides the renewal and the required verification that shows its ineligibility, you must send a Notice of Action Taken (Form 08MP038E) to explain to household why it is no longer eligible.
