​Changes and Renewals

Between eligibility determinations, a client's life circumstances may change. Child Care Policy classifies household changes into those changes a household must report and those the household may decide to report. You must act on any changes reported by the household.

At the end of the eligibility period, a household that wishes to continue their benefits must complete a renewal. You must update the Child Care benefit in response to the renewal and redetermine the household's eligibility.
