I-35 narrows, ramps intermittently close in Ardmore daily weekdays through spring 2021

Monday, March 01, 2021

This project is weather permitting:

The I-35 off- and on-ramps at US-70 West (mm 31B) and 12th St. (mm 32) in Ardmore in Carter County will be intermittently closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily Monday through Thurdsay and from 7 a.m. to noon Friday each week through spring 2021 for ongoing sign installation.

Additionally, I-35 will continue to be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction in Ardmore daily Monday through Friday mornings through spring 2021.

Drivers can expect delays and should plan extra travel time in this area.

This work is part of an ongoing project to replace outdated signage at various locations on I-35 in Carter, Murray and Love counties that continues through spring 2021. The nearly $3 million contract was awarded to Action Safety Supply Co., of Oklahoma City.
