I-35 narrowed to one lane near Davis through early summer 2021
***This project was delayed from starting in early February as originally planned due to the winter weather.
This project is weather permitting:
I-35 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction about one mile north of SH-7 (near mm 56) between Davis and Wynnewood in Garvin County beginning Wednesday, Feb. 24 and continuing through early summer for bridge rehabilitation at Wildhorse Creek Overflow.
The speed limit will be reduced and drivers can expect delays and congestion in the area. Motorists should plan extra travel time or use an alternate route.
The more than $1 million contract for this project was awarded to B & B Construction Service, of Clayton, Okla., in August 2020.
