I-35 narrows near Turner Falls Thursday and Friday

Wednesday, April 28, 2021

This project is weather permitting:

The right lane of southbound I-35 will be closed between the north US-77 jct. (mm 51) and the south US-77 jct. (mm 47) near Turner Falls in Murray County from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 7 a.m. to noon Friday for signage installation. This closure will affect the truck acceleration lane, so drivers can expect slower traffic and delays.

This work is part of an ongoing project to replace outdated I-35 signage at multiple locations in southern Oklahoma that continues through spring 2021. The nearly $3 million contract for this project was awarded to Action Safety Supply Co., of Oklahoma City.
