Virtual open house now online for proposed SH-10A improvements in Sequoyah County

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting a virtual open house to provide information on a proposed improvement project on SH-10A through Paradise Hill in Sequoyah County.

The project area on SH-10A is from two miles east of the SH-10 junction and extends east to the SH-100 junction. This segment is narrow with limited sight distance due to the terrain. The project would improve the safety and traffic flow in this corridor by widening driving lanes and shoulders and also improving areas with significant curves.

The virtual open house is online n through August 16 and will allow the public to view the latest proposal and provide input on the latest design. Due to COVID-19 precautions, this presentation is a web-based public viewing format with no in-person meetings scheduled.

The project is expected to go to bid in FFY2024.
