Nutt recognized as ODOT Division One Employee of the Quarter

Oklahoma Department of Transportation employee Caleb Nutt was recently recognized for his performance and named Division One’s Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2017. The quarterly award recognizes hard work and is given to dedicated ODOT employees who consistently exhibit the highest standards in job performance.

Nutt is a Transportation Superintendent I with the division’s Sign/Centerline crew and has worked for

ODOT for 11 years. He was nominated anonymously by one of his colleagues who praised Nutt’s leadership in focusing on safety and his willingness to take on new tasks.  

“Caleb is committed to safety. He does an excellent job of promoting safe operations for the benefit of the traveling public and his fellow ODOT employees,” the anonymous coworker said. “Caleb has a strong work ethic, is a quick learner and is always willing to help out in any way.”   

Nutt and his wife, Kelsey, live in Muskogee and have three children. He enjoys doing dozer work, raising cattle and hunting.

Division One is headquartered in Muskogee and oversees highway construction and maintenance in Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah and Wagoner counties.
