Vonfeldt named ODOT Division Seven Construction Engineer

Cole Vonfeldt was named Division Seven Construction Engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in June.

He began his career at ODOT as a Project Inspector for the El Reno Residency in 2010. In 2012, he moved up to El Reno Resident Engineer then to Area Maintenance Engineer in 2014 until his promotion.

As Construction Engineer overseeing responsibilities include everything from the development of a project to daily construction. The Division Seven area he maintains includes nine counties: Caddo, Carter, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson, Love, Murray, and Stephens.

Vonfeldt was born in Great Bend, KS and holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He has been a registered Professional Engineer since 2010.

He and his wife, Krystal, reside in Duncan and have two daughters.
