Oklahoma Department of Transportation worker Tracy Lewis was recently honored as the Division One Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2016. The award recognizes hard work and is given to dedicated employees of ODOT’s Muskogee-based Division One who consistently exhibit the highest standards in job performance.

Lewis has worked for ODOT for seven years and is a Transportation Equipment Operator IV assigned to Division One’s asphalt and bridge crew. He was nominated for the award anonymously by a coworker.

“Tracy operates all equipment in a safe manner and follows all safety protocols to ensure each work zone is set up properly to protect the work crew and the driving public,” the coworker said. “Tracy has always stepped up to assist his coworkers with on-the-job training. He is a great team leader and motivator.”

Lewis enjoys hunting, raising deer and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Angela, have one daughter and live in Muskogee.

Division One is headquartered in Muskogee and oversees highway construction and maintenance in Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah and Wagoner counties.
