Public invited to attend Dec. 8 meeting about future SH-53 project in Carter County

Tuesday, December 01, 2015

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting to present information about a future project to improve SH-53 from just west of County Road NS-323 (Peach Tree Rd.) east through the I-35 interchange near Springer. The existing highway has many hills and no paved shoulders. Several possible alternatives will be presented for reconstruction of the highway on a new alignment.

Engineers and planners will be available to answer questions and receive input from members of the public at the meeting.
