OCAST Health Research

OCAST awards funding of up to $135,000 to researchers focused on human health. OCAST Health Research supports basic health research projects to help advance the science and encourages collaborative efforts to support later stage applied health research projects.
Impact: Oklahoma Health Research projects enhance the competitiveness of Oklahoma health researchers in their pursuit of additional research funds, recruit and retain outstanding health research scientists for the state, improve health care for Oklahoma citizens and strengthen the state’s health care industry.
Projects
- Investigate the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of human diseases and disabilities and facilitate the development of health care products and services.
Applicants
- Must be an Oklahoma-based research or non-profit institution or company.
- May request up to $45,000/year for a period of 1-3 years.
