Interim Commissioner Bates Statement on the Death of State Rep.Claudia Griffith

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is deeply saddened by the death of Representative Claudia Griffith. Early in her career, she was a nurse with the Cleveland County Health Department and she was a strong advocate for health issues during her professional career, as well as in the legislature. Our condolences go out to her family and we will remember her as someone who was deeply committed to improving the health of Oklahomans, especially among those who were most vulnerable.
