Family Planning Program
The Family Planning Program is designed to provide men and women with the means and opportunity to determine the number and spacing of their children. Any man or woman who are still of childbearing age are eligible for this program.
How much does it cost?
The cost of payment is based on a sliding scale. The amount you pay depends on how many live in the home and how much income is brought in. We also accept SoonerPlan and some Private Insurances.
You may apply for SoonerPlan online at www.mysoonercare.org or you may apply at any health department of your choice.

A: SoonerPlan is Oklahoma's Family Planning Program.
Q: What does SoonerPlan cover?
A: SoonerPlan covers office visits and exams related to family planning, pap smears, birth control, tubal ligations and vasectomies for women and men 19 years of age and older.
Q: Who is eligible for SoonerPlan?
A: Any childbearing women or any men who want to prevent pregnancy and are between the ages of 19-40. You must be an Oklahoma resident and within the income guidelines.
Q: Where can I receive SoonerPlan services?
A: You can receive services from any Medicaid provider who provides family planning services.
