We provide family planning services to males and females of reproductive age and capability.
For Women
- Pregnancy test (Pregnancy tests are available on a walk-in basis, Monday-Thursday 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm, Friday 8am-11am.)
- Pap smear
- Breast exam
- Testing for Sexually Transmitted Diseases
- Height
- Weight
- Education and counseling on methods to prevent pregnancy
- Counseling and referrals
For Men
- Physical examination
- Instructions in testicular self-exams
- Examination of the prostate, as appropriate
- Testing for sexually transmitted diseases
- Education and counseling on methods to prevent pregnancy
- Counseling and referrals
Adolescents are encouraged to involve their parents.
All services are confidential.
Exams and other services are available by appointment only.
APPOINTMENTS
We offer appointments Monday through Friday 8am until 3:15pm.
Appointments must be scheduled by the individual seeking services.
Children are not allowed at Family Planning appointments. If an individual presents for an appointment with children, the appointment will be rescheduled.
INSURANCE
Cleveland County Health Department now accepts many insurance plans. Please contact your insurance provider for more information regarding coverage.
Clients 19 and older without insurance may qualify for SoonerCare or SoonerPlan. Please bring a photo ID and proof of citizenship (birth certificate or voter registration card) to your next visit.
FEES
We use a sliding scale based on your income.
We do not deny services based on an inability to pay.
