Walk-in Notice

Walk-in appointments are available at both locations of the Cleveland County Health Department. Walk-in appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday hours are from 8 to 11 a.m.

Scheduled appointments are still required for COVID testing, family planning, annual exams, child/adult health exams and all WIC consults.

Walk-in appointments for STI testing and treatment are available Monday through Friday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled.


General Walk-in Clinic Hours

High demand may limit availability of some services, please call ahead to ensure your need can be met.


Monday-Thursday:

  • 8:00am - 11:00am
  • 1:00pm - 5:00pm (please check in by 4:00 pm)

Head lice checks, pregnancy tests, emergency contraception, and immunizations.


STD Clinic

For current hours and information, please call the Norman office (405) 321-4048 or Moore office (405) 794-1591.

Testing is available for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. Treatment is available for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. We do not test for HPV, herpes, or treat genital warts or HIV.

Note: We do not offer Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for high risk exposure to HIV. For more information on PEP, please go to: https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/pep.html

REMINDER – Children are NOT allowed in the exam room during Family Planning or STD visits. If you bring children to your appointment or walk-in visit for these services you will be asked to reschedule.

Tuberculosis Walk-In Clinic:

Tuberculosis Skin Tests Now Available at the Cleveland County Health Department:

There is a $15 charge for those that require a TB skin test for work or school.

TB skin tests are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment only.

Please note clients must return in 48 to 72 hours to have their TB skin test read and to receive proper documentation.

WIC: By Appointment Only

Certification and recertification appointments by appointment only. Transferring clients need to bring proof of ID for self and children and should bring proof of address. Individual Nutrition Education classes by appointment only.  


Family Planning: By Appointment Only

Annual Exams are done by appointment only, one yearly or transfer in from another clinic. Contraceptive pick-up or evaluation is offered during our normal clinic hours.

Environmental Health:

For dog bites, hotels, pool inspections, and food establishment inspection queries, please call (405) 321-4048.  


Food Handler Class:

Classes are currently offered online. Learn more here. A $10 charge (cash or money order only) applies to attend an online class and photo ID is required.
