SoonerStart-EI

SiblingsSooner Start is Oklahoma’s early intervention program designed to meet the needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities and/or developmental delays. Early Intervention Services are provided for eligible children (birth-up to 3 years of age) and their families. Children are eligible with an automatically qualifying diagnosis (such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc.) or by developmental evaluation with two 25% delays or one 50% delay. Most services take place in the child's natural environment, which may include the child’s home, or daycare and could extend to other community settings. The goal of SoonerStart is to provide families and children with ideas and interventions that promote typical development.
