OMHHE Leadership

The OSDH Office of Minority Health & Health Equity (OMHHE) works to advance and sustain organizational governance and leadership that promotes cultural and linguistically appropriate services and health equity through policy, practices and allocated resources.  Examples include:

  • Annual cultural competency training for all employees
  • Language assistance between provider and client with limited English proficiency
  • OSDH Non-Discrimination Statement

OMHHE Team

The OMHHE team is passionate about serving all Oklahomans.  The team’s educational background includes child development, biology, public health and business administration. Two staff members are bilingual in Spanish.  The OMHHE team’s professional experience includes public health, higher education, public education K-12, and non-profit sectors.  We invite you to contact us if you have any questions at minorityhealth@health.ok.gov.
